Drawpin is provided as an offline utility application to capture photos and annotate defects on site. We do not require accounts or store your photos on remote servers. You retain full ownership and responsibility for the photos you capture and share.
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Drawpin mobile application ("App") or related website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App.
2. License to Use
Subject to these Terms, Drawpin grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for personal or commercial site inspection and markup purposes on your personal or business mobile devices.
3. Local Storage and User Responsibility
Drawpin is built as an offline-first camera tool. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Local Data Storage: All photos, pins, sketches, notes, and snag summaries are stored solely on your device's local memory.
- Backup Responsibility: Because Drawpin does not automatically sync photos to an external cloud database, you are solely responsible for backing up your device and saving critical report exports.
- App Deletion: Uninstalling the App or clearing its cache from your device may permanently erase any locally stored photos and markups.
4. Site Compliance and Acceptable Use
When capturing photos or annotating work on construction sites, properties, or project facilities, you represent and warrant that:
- You have all necessary permissions, permits, and authority to photograph the relevant work areas, equipment, and structural elements.
- Your usage complies with applicable site safety regulations, client non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and local privacy laws.
- You will not use Drawpin for any unlawful, harassing, or unauthorized surveillance activities.
5. Application Diagnostics & Error Reporting
Drawpin does not collect personal data, but the App may automatically transmit anonymous technical error logs and crash diagnostics in the event of an unexpected fault. This data is used solely to maintain application stability and resolve code defects.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Drawpin name, logos, user interface designs, code, and visual assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Drawpin. You retain all copyright and proprietary rights to the original photos and annotations created by you using the App.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Drawpin is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to provide a fast, reliable, and bug-free utility, we do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every mobile hardware configuration.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Drawpin, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, lost photos, missed project deadlines, or hardware damage arising out of your use or inability to use the App.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
